  • Writing switching plans
  • The safe commissioning and decommissioning of low- and high-voltage electrical installations
  • Instructions for safe working practices
  • Consequences of overloading and short circuits in electrical installations
  • How to act in the event of deviations from normal operations with electrical installations
  • Practising switching operations based on switching plans
  • Assessing and creating a safe workplace
Target group

The re-qualification is intended for employees whose IVWV LS/HS certificate is about to expire and who would like a refresher course. The requalification is also suitable if you have failed and would like to obtain the certificate after all.

Pre-requisite

To follow the re-qualification course, you must have completed the regular IV/WV Low and High Voltage course or a similar course.

Course duration

The refresher course for NEN 3140/NEN 3840 Nominated Person in Control of Electrical Installations and Work Activity Low and High Voltage lasts 5 days, with 3 days of theory and 2 days of practice.

Certification

You can complete the IV/WV requalification with a theory and practical exam. You have two options to complete the course: 

  1. Stipel certificate
  2. Proof of participation 

Please note: have you previously been STIPEL certified for IVWV LS/HS? Then you are exempt from the basic test for this certificate, provided you obtain the certificate no later than two years after the expiry of its period of validity.

Re-certification: exemption with old certificate

 

Is your Stipel or Aestimavi certificate
IVWV LS&HS about to expire and would you like to renew it? Send a copy of your certificate to the exam office and receive exemption from the basic test.

 

Condition for exemption basic examination

Demonstrate that you have a valid certificate or one that has been expired for no more than two years. You must have passed the other exams within that period.

 

Two weeks before the exam

Send a copy of your certificate no later than two weeks before the exam date, so that the exam centre can make the necessary preparations.

 

Copy not sent on time

Then you must also pass the basic exam. This tests your electrical knowledge. However, this knowledge is not covered in this requalification course.
